A luxury complex Pioner Resort and Spa is under construction near Razlog, it will have a rich landscape solution. The site is 20,548 sq. m, the built-up area (including basements) is 37,500sq.m, the gross-floor area of the apartments is 16,210.5 sq. m, the hotel space is 18,000sq. m. The investor is Brant Ltd and the design was prepared by Emil Momchilov. Razlog municipality issued construction permits for the first stage of the gated community type complex. It is situated immediately next to the northern border of Pirin National Park with a direct access to the mountains with a project for new ski-runs and facilities, next to Pirin Golf Club. The main sections have 28 to 30 apartments - with one, two, three and four bedrooms their total number will be 177. The development has been referred to as "The Development of The Year" and will be a very exclusive complex, which is remote from other development and opposite the Pirin National Park, which is a UNESCO protected site.
